Payment in full must be made prior to you taking ownership of the dog; payments are accepted in the form of cash or cashier’s check.

The Seller, Nanette Baker, and the Buyer, ___________________, hereby agree to the follow:

The Seller hereby sells to the Buyer one female/male Yorkshire Terrier puppy, whelped __________, to AKC dam, _____________ and sire, ___________ for the amount of _________________. The sale of this puppy is with a Limited Registration from AKC, with a spayed contract and must be completed by the time the pup reaches 9 (nine) months old.

Full payment and proof of pup spayed must be received prior to the Seller transferring American Kennel Club (AKC) litter registration papers to the Buyer. The Buyer is responsible for submitting the registration to the AKC with required AKC registration fees.

Health Guarantee

Your new puppy is guaranteed to be in good health, free of any communicable disease at the time of sale. Your puppy has been examined & vaccinated by a veterinarian (Antioch Vet Clinic, 3664 Lone Tree Way, Antioch, CA 94509, 925-757-4814) and has been given a clean bill of health. The buyer agrees to take puppy to a veterinarian of your choice within 3 business days of purchase for a “Well Puppy Visit” and to validate good health. Illnesses not covered within the first 3 business days are dehydration, diarrhea, or hypoglycemia as these can be prevented or easily corrected and are common when puppies move to a new home. I provide a 1-year, from whelping date, life-threatening genetic health guarantee, in which problem reuslts in death. Problem must be presented in writing by a licensed vet and may need to be examined for an additional opinion. In the event of a problem, puppy will be replaced in the same manner with one of like sex and quality when puppy is available. No cash refunds will be given. All sales are final. Seller will not be responsible for any type of veterinarian bill or medication for puppy. I do not guarantee against Parvo, Corona, Coccidiosis, Giardia, Hernias, or Collapsed Tracheal, Hypoglycemia, and Patellar Luxation since these may involve trauma or environmental issues.

All puppies are sold as PET QUALITY at a fraction of the price of show quality and some blemishes may be present. The blemishes do not constitute grounds for replacement. The seller does not and cannot guarantee the size of the puppy when it matures. To the best knowledge of the seller the puppy is healthy at the time of the sale. Please have the puppy checked by your veterinarian within 3 business days.

No warranty is given to the Buyer for any special purpose or function of this dog. This dog is not to be used for any illegal or immoral activities.

The Buyer's Responsibility

The Buyer agrees to provide proper care for the puppy, including nutrition, vet care, maintain immunizations, grooming care, and house the dog properly indoors; furthermore, the buyer agrees to give the dog proper physical and emotional care and welfare.

The sale of this puppy is with a Limited Registration from AKC, with a spayed contract and must be completed by the time the pup reaches 9 (nine) months old, __________. If the buyer fails for any reason to spay the dog on or before the 9 months, the buyer agrees to pay any and all fees, including but not limited to legal fees, court costs, veterinary fees, boarding fees, etc, incurred by the Seller and their agreement to enforce this contract. Transfer of ownership or housing of this dog does not limit or any way change any of the responsibility of the buyer to spay the dog as per this agreement.

If, at any time during life and ownership of this puppy should the need arise in which the puppy must be sold or given away, the Buyer shall so notify the Seller and give the Seller first option. The health guarantee is offered to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

THIS WRITTEN AGREEMENT IS A BINDING CONTRACT ENTERED INTO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND IS THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE BUYER AND SELLER CONCERNING THE HEALTH CONDITIONS OR LOSS OF THIS PUPPY. I HAVE READ & AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE ABOVE CONTRACT. I UNDERSTAND THAT NO OTHER GUARANTEES ARE MEANT OR IMPLIED OTHER THAN WHAT IS STATED IN THE WRITING OF THIS CONTRACT. I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT NANETTE BAKER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY EXPENSES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PUPPY ONCE THE PUPPY LEAVES BREEDER’S PREMISES.
